A Few Lamps That I Love to Cozy Up a Space

There was a blank wall in our kitchen that I was very excited to fill and make cozy. I love that it’s a cozy space in our kitchen and I was also able to get some more storage by using this large chest.

Lamps are such a fun way to bring in a pop of color or personality to a space. I recommend really searching for lamps until you know that it’s absolutely perfect. There are SO many lamps available that it gets overwhelming and it’s easy to land on a lamp that fits the space, but wait until you find the one that you won’t get rid of.

This space in the kitchen is actually going to get a little refresh soon. I’ve ordered some shelves—which means I have to move this lamp. I certainly won’t get rid of it! I am going to rearrange a few other things in the house and make sure it’s still on display.

Candle warmers are a game changer over here. I’ve always been wary of burning candles and I don’t like to do it much because I’m afraid a cat is going to get to it, or I’ll just forget it. With a candle warmer, I feel much more comfortable than I do with an open flame. You can turn them on with a timer, which gives me some extra peace of mind!

I was able to add some coffee table books, a vintage-inspired bowl and more of our wine corks to bring in some fun decor. I was able to put some of my mother’s old cookbooks on display here and that brings me joy.

Take a space in your home, add some furniture, a lamp and some fun decor to make it your own!

I have my exact items linked below. The exact candle warmer that I purchased is from Hobby Lobby, but there are so many good ones from Amazon that I’ll link below as well. I have another one in a different room that I love too! Also, that bowl shows up as “frequently returned” on Amazon. I love that Amazon shows us that information. It helps me stop and read reviews to make sure I really want to purchase it. That bowl has a very vintage-inspired look, but I absolutely love it personally!

I could shop for lamps all day! I’ll link some below that I think would look beautiful in a space like this . As I have mentioned before, bring out the measuring tape! You’ll want to make sure that the lamp fits your space perfectly!

But is it practical?

Worth bringing home if: You’ve measured your space, know exactly where it’s going, and found a piece you genuinely love. Even better if you can shop your own home and give something you already own a new spot!

Probably skip it if: You’re buying something just to fill a blank wall. Blank space isn’t a bad thing! Wait until you find something that fits your space and feels like you.
